Interim Executive Headteacher – The Role:

An ambitious and growing Multi-Academy Trust in London is seeking an Interim Executive Headteacher to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple schools. This is a pivotal role for an experienced educational leader who can drive improvement, ensure high standards, and support the Trust through a period of transition.

Interim Executive Headteacher – Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strong and decisive leadership across multiple schools, ensuring consistency and excellence in teaching, learning, and outcomes

- Support and mentor Headteachers to develop their leadership capacity and maintain high expectations

- Oversee school improvement strategies, ensuring that all schools meet or exceed performance targets

- Work closely with the CEO and Trust Board to align educational strategy with the Trust’s vision and values

- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, including governors, parents, and external agencies

- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, safeguarding policies, and Ofsted frameworks

Interim Executive Headteacher – You:

- Proven experience as an Executive Headteacher, CEO, or Headteacher with experience leading multiple schools

- A track record of school improvement, with demonstrable success in raising standards

- Strong strategic and operational leadership skills

- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders

- A deep understanding of current education policy, Ofsted frameworks, and multi-academy trust structures
