Job Title: Assistant Director - School Improvement
Salary: £83,025 - £93,275 (& generous benefits)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an exceptional leader to drive excellence and equity in education. As Assistant Director, you will shape the strategic vision for school improvement, working with educational leaders, multi-academy trusts, and key stakeholders. You will lead a skilled team, championing innovation and ensuring outstanding teaching, learning, and pastoral care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and implement the strategic vision for school improvement.
- Collaborate with educational leaders and stakeholders.
- Lead initiatives to close attainment gaps and promote inclusivity.
- Provide clear direction and foster strong partnerships.
- Hold schools accountable for performance and celebrate excellence.
- Support vulnerable children and promote inclusive services.
Requirements:
- Inspirational leader with a strong track record in education and school improvement.
- Experience in a local authority, academy trust, or similar educational organisation.
- Understanding of the current policy landscape and challenges facing schools.
- The ability to communicate a clear vision and deliver measurable outcomes.
