About the role - SENCO

This position is to lead the SEN department and be responsible for the smooth day to day running of SEN. The SENCO role is a full-time position that requires someone who is exceptionally organised and efficient, used to dealing with a diverse workload and has excellent communication skills. You will be delivering SEN teaching plus mainstream teaching and working closely with the pastoral team. The ideal SENCO would be able to coach, mentor and lead others, have thorough knowledge of the new SEND Code of Practice and be skilled in working with students with a range of abilities and needs.

About the school - SENCO

This mainstream mixed secondary school based in the London borough Enfield cater to students aged 11 to 18 where there is a clear focus on development. The school has been developing their infrastructure over the past couple of years where they have constructed five science labs, a computer suite and fifteen new state of the art classrooms. With a focus on taking the schools standards to new levels, this independant is keen to invest into their staff and help support their students by bringing in strong education specialists to teach at the best of their ability.
