We are seeking a Subject Lead for BA Business Management for a well established HE Institution. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of business leaders by delivering a comprehensive and innovative curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of the BA Business Management programme, ensuring high standards of teaching and student success.
Day-to-day of the role:- Lead the design and development of the BA Business Management curriculum, ensuring it meets the highest educational standards.
- Manage and deliver teaching across various levels, focusing on your specialist subject area.
- Engage in continuous curriculum development and assessment, maintaining alignment with industry standards and advancements.
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students, monitoring their progress and maintaining records.
- Maintain strong industry links to enhance the curriculum and student learning experience.
- Utilize educational technologies to enhance teaching effectiveness and student engagement.
- Conduct research and engage in professional practice to stay updated with the latest developments in business management.
- Collaborate with the academic team and the Course Director to implement college-wide teaching and learning strategies.
- A relevant BA and postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional experience.
- Teaching qualification (PG Cert or equivalent) is essential.
- PhD or higher-level research degree is desirable.
- Experience in teaching and assessment within a Higher Education environment.
- Proven track record in curriculum design and development.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in managing educational programs.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with staff and students.
