About the RoleDue to significant growth, our client is looking for experienced Fire and Security Engineers to join their nationwide team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of various environments, with ample opportunities for career progression. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient on-site, showcasing a strong understanding of technology, excellent organisational skills, and robust communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct planned and fault diagnostic work on Fire and Intruder panels.
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on various systems.
  • Manage small works projects as required.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to arrange site access and meet client expectations.
  • Support management in the growth of Fire & Security services.

About YouThe ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in fire, security, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Strong hands-on skills and familiarity with a variety of tools.
  • The ability and motivation to learn new products and technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and environments.
  • A commitment to maintaining high-quality installations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of BS5839-1:2017 and PD6662.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Capability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience operating SMART devices and completing electronic documentation.
  • Full driving license and ability to pass background checks.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of FIA Modules (training provided as necessary).
  • Valid ECS/CSCS Card.
