The Company:
One of the world's most respected design, engineering, and project management consultancies is looking for a Principal Fire Engineer to join their team, in London. The successful candidate will be working with a talented team of design professionals to deliver fire engineering designs to clients in wide range of sectors. These sectors include, Commercial, Energy, and Transportation.
The Role:
As a Principal Fire Engineer, you will work collaboratively with Senior Fire Engineers but also get the opportunity to work independently. You will be working on fire engineering projects from inception to completion.
Role Responsibilities:
- Managing projects within time and budget constraints.
- Ensure latest regulations and legislation are upheld
- Delivering fire engineering solutions on exciting projects.
- Identify and mitigate fire related risks on projects.
- Prepare and review reports.
- Develop client relationships with existing clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in fire engineering
- An Engineering degree, preferably fire engineering. Chemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering will also be accepted.
- Associate membership of the IFE working towards full membership.
- Working towards Chartership.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Experience delivering on four of: ADB, BS9999, BS9991, BS9992, DIFs, MOJ and BB100 jobs.
