A leading Tier One MEP Contractor with an excellent national reputation is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to oversee multiple projects across London. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the safety and welfare of all personnel on site. You'll have the chance to contribute to high-profile projects, collaborating with top industry professionals to help deliver state-of-the-art facilities.

Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify potential hazards, ensuring effective control measures are in place.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations and legislation, providing advice and guidance to project teams.
  • Lead regular safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver relevant health and safety training programs for project staff and subcontractors.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, reporting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Promote a strong safety culture on-site by fostering awareness and maintaining open lines of communication.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders, clients, and regulatory bodies regarding health and safety matters.
Experience required:
  • MUST have 2-5 years Construction experience, preferably with an MEP Contractor
  • NEBOSH qualification is highly desirable
