Do you have a technical/ engineering background from facilities management or building services and hold the NEBOSH certificate?

This company have a massive estate with a number of unique buildings that offers the chance to work on a range of equipment in a variety of different settings. Due to expansion, they are looking to recruit an Health and safety advisor to join their expert team.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing and safety management system to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.


The role will also involve developing and undertaking compliance audits and inspection, providing expert technical advice on health and safety matters and collaborating with various teams to promote a safe working environment across a diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or technical background from FM, estates or building management then have moved into a health and safety role.

This is a brilliant role for a health and safety professional to join a leading public sector organisation that will offer you a varied and technical interesting role where you will be a vital cog in the wheel .

The role:

*Hybrid working role.
*Establish a safety management system, to support a positive health and safety culture within the property division.
*Monitor the effectiveness od the safety management system and support the development of strategies for improvement.
*Develop health and safety strategies and operations procedures.
*Develop and undertake compliance audits.
*Have autonomy to make changes and improvements.

The person:

*Candidate need to have a technical or engineering background.

*Have worked in FM or building services.
*Hold NEBOSH
*Practical application of health and safety risk management.
