Health & Safety Advisor Job Overview
  • Provide guidance and assistance to meet client and project requirements.
  • Offer direction and support to ensure compliance with health and safety (H&S) regulations.
  • Organise and implement H&S protocols for all stages of construction planning and preparation.
  • Complete and manage administrative documentation, ensuring communication through appropriate channels.
  • Contribute to and develop strategies for maintaining efficient information flow throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with principal contractors and stakeholders to ensure designs adhere to safety standards.
  • Advise clients on project feasibility in relation to CDM regulations.
  • Oversee multiple CDM portfolios for internal and external clients.
  • Work closely with the wider H&S team to deliver a unified approach to H&S management.
Health & Safety Advisor Job Requirements
  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to the construction industry, CDM and health and safety.
  • Qualification in health and safety (NEBOSH construction, TechIOSH etc.).
  • Membership with IMAPS.
  • Previous CDM experience.
Health & Safety Advisor Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £45,000 to £50,000
  • Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon - Fri
  • Holiday: 25 days per annum, plus bank holidays and additional days accrued with service.
