Public Protection Officer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and manage a diverse caseload of public protection issues, ensuring legal compliance and enforcement of regulations.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and sampling programs to ensure statutory duties are met.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including businesses, residents, and external agencies, to support public safety initiatives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on technical areas of public protection, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service projects, aiming for continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Represent the service in meetings, forums, and working groups as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We're Looking For:
