- Develop and implement the Group OHS strategy and associated plans for the business
- Ensure that the requirements of all relevant HSE legislation are up to date and followed and that the business complies with corporate and legal requirements at all times.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the onsite HSE Advisor
- Implement and nourish a positive and proactive Health and Safety culture and ensure it is supported at all levels of the workforce across the site, supporting their journey towards interdependency
- Deliver continuous improvement in Health, Safety and Environment standards and practices year on year.
- Provide training to prevent accidents, conduct risk assessments and investigate accidents/near misses making recommendations for improvements.
- Support the Head of HSE with some exciting projects and also spearheading campaigns across this site
- Support stakeholders, influence and engage middle management to ensure HSE continues to be a number one priority
- Run and present internal meetings
- NEBOSH Certificate is essential, NEBOSH Diploma ( or equivalent) is desirable
- Prior Safety, Health and Environmental experience at a senior advisor or regional or managerial level is essential
- High risk manufacturing experience, ideally within a fast paced environment like Food and Beverage is preferred. Experience with wider manufacturing, distribution, logistics and wider production will be considered, if relevant.
