Job Advertisement: HSE Regional Operations Advisor (6-Month Contract)Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE Regional Operations Advisor for a 6-month contract with one of the leading innovators in the data center industry. This role requires a professional with a strong Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) background to support operational facilities and FM vendors, ensuring compliance and adherence to HSE standards.Location:Based in London, with regular travel across Central Europe as requiredContract Type:6-Month Fixed TermDaily Rate:Competitive, up to £375 per dayStart Date:November 2024Key Responsibilities:
  • HSE Support & Compliance: Oversee and monitor HSE standards within operational facilities, supporting FM vendors and maintaining statutory compliance across data centers in the EMEA region.• Stakeholder Management: Build and foster relationships with campus and regional operations managers, ensuring alignment with HSE policies and procedures.• Audit & Reporting: Assist in EMEA-wide audits and ensure accurate HSE reporting and documentation to maintain compliance.• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate HSE risks, promoting a safe and compliant work environment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Qualifications: Degree-level Health and Safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH) or equivalent.• Experience: 3-5+ years in a similar role within facilities management, ideally with exposure to data centers.• Skills:- Strong understanding of ISO standards and experience in audit processes.- Excellent communication and reporting skills with a proactive and approachable demeanor.  - Strong collaborative and relationship-building abilities.
Working Arrangements:
  • Base Location: London, with an expectation to be onsite at our London facility daily and flexibility to travel across Europe as needed.• Hours: 8am - 6pm, with travel flexibility required.
