Their expertise spans the M&E sector, and they are looking for an experienced HSE Manager to join their team for a major data centre project in West London.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned M&E HSE Manager to lead and manage all health and safety activities on-site for a large-scale M&E data centre project. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in data centre or M&E projects, with a strong focus on health and safety, rather than general construction experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Health and Safety Management:

  • Lead and manage all health and safety activities on-site, ensuring strict adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop comprehensive safety plans and ensure effective implementation across the project.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits, identifying potential hazards and implementing corrective actions.

Technical Expertise and Advisory:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain a high standard of safety on-site.

Incident and Training Management:

  • Investigate any incidents or near-misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Train and mentor site teams on health and safety best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in managing health and safety on M&E projects, ideally within the data centre sector.
  • Strong understanding of M&E processes and safety regulations.
  • Relevant certifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
