Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join a SEN School in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for providing high-quality care to patients, supporting their healthcare need and PEG feeding trained.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Students with personal care activities
  • Monitoring and recording Students vitals
  • Administering medication and providing treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, including PEG feeding
  • Supporting students with mobility and exercise
  • Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent qualification
  • PEG feeding training and certification
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy and patience when working with patients

Day-to-day

As a Health Care Assistant, you will work closely with healthcare and educational professionals to provide essential care and support to students. Your duties will include assisting with personal care, administering medication and treatments, and ensuring patients' comfort and well-being.
