The Role

  • Taking responsibility for students in the sixth form with SEN needs and with Exam Access Requirements.
  • To address the needs of students – organisation of work, time and deadlines, other barriers.
  • To liaise with the SENCO to discuss the understanding of SEN procedures and needs within the Sixth Form.
  • To liaise with the Exams team – sharing exam access procedures and needs.

You will need to have experience working with SEN, such as ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and exam-related anxiety and you will working closely with the exams team to arrange the correct exam access for students. Experience working with secondary students will be preferred. You will be part of the team that organising Safety Plans, assisting with events, tracking SEN data, supporting SEN students 1:1 and ensuring all exam access is organised.
