Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Full-Time – Post-16 College –  London Borough of Greenwich

Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs in further education? Do you have the skills, resilience, and empathy to help students overcome barriers to learning?

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a Post-16 College in the London Borough of Greenwich Area, working with students who have a range of needs, including SEMH, Anxiety, Suicidal Ideologies, ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and wheelchair users.

Role Details:
  • Location: London Borough of Greenwich
  • Days: Monday to Friday (Please only apply if you can work 5 days)
  • Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
  • Pay: £85 - £115 per day (depending on experience)
  • Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
  • Providing tailored support to students with diverse learning and emotional needs
  • Assisting with mobility, personal care, and communication where necessary
  • Supporting students with anxiety, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
  • Working collaboratively with staff to create an inclusive and supportive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Experience supporting students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or physical disabilities
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • A passion for making a positive impact in a post-16 educational setting
