We are seeking an ambitious and dynamicAssistant General Managerto join our leadership team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to grow into a General Manager position within 12-18 months

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee the smooth execution of daily service, ensuring a seamless connection between the front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Act as a key decision-maker during shifts, taking ownership of service flow, guest experience, and operational problem-solving.
  • Support the General Manager in executing business strategies, driving efficiency, and maintaining exceptional service standards
Guest Experience & Service Excellence:
  • Lead by example to create a warm, engaging, and high-energy atmosphere that keeps guests returning.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues proactively to maintain a best-in-class reputation.
  • Ensure all team members are trained to deliver a high level of hospitality, maintaining consistency in service.
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Motivate and support staff through ongoing training, career development, and clear performance expectations.
  • Lead pre-shift briefings, ensuring clear communication and alignment on daily objectives
Financial & Commercial Performance:
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including labour costs, food & beverage margins, and overall profitability.
  • Support budget planning, cost control, and revenue-driving initiatives to maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the senior team on menu planning, promotions, and marketing strategies to drive business growth.
Health & Safety Compliance:
  • Uphold strict adherence to food safety, health, and hygiene regulations at all times.
  • Ensure all staff follow best practices for workplace safety and risk management.
  • Oversee equipment maintenance and compliance with licensing laws.
