Clinical Services ManagerHarley Street District, London (100% on site)Up to £65,000 DOE

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Services Manager to join our prestigious audiology clinic in Central London. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Clinical Leadership
    • Oversee general outpatient clinics and facilitate smooth patient flow through the department.
    • Coordinate all clinical activity to maximise efficiency.
    • Provide clinical leadership to all staff, including nurses and operating department practitioners.
    • Assist in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with ENT-related conditions.
  2. Operational Management
    • Manage and optimise the use of operating theatres, including scheduling and resource allocation.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance service delivery.
    • Conduct workforce reviews and optimise staffing levels to meet service demands.
    • Oversee financial management, including budget control and resource allocation.
  3. Quality Assurance and Compliance
    • Ensure adherence to CQC requirements.
    • Implement and maintain robust clinical governance frameworks.
    • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care.
    • Manage risk and develop contingency plans for various scenarios.
  4. Staff Development
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff.
    • Organise and facilitate training programs for the multidisciplinary team.
    • Mentor and support junior staff members in their career progression.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Engage with patients and their families to address concerns and improve service delivery.
    • Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and healthcare commissioners.
  6. Service Improvement
    • Lead change management initiatives to enhance clinical services and patient outcomes.
    • Develop and implement innovative approaches to ENT care delivery.
    • Analyse performance data and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a related specialty.
  • Proven experience in a healthcare leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and CQC standards.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
