We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Services Manager to join our prestigious audiology clinic in Central London. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Leadership
- Oversee general outpatient clinics and facilitate smooth patient flow through the department.
- Coordinate all clinical activity to maximise efficiency.
- Provide clinical leadership to all staff, including nurses and operating department practitioners.
- Assist in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with ENT-related conditions.
- Operational Management
- Manage and optimise the use of operating theatres, including scheduling and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to enhance service delivery.
- Conduct workforce reviews and optimise staffing levels to meet service demands.
- Oversee financial management, including budget control and resource allocation.
- Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to CQC requirements.
- Implement and maintain robust clinical governance frameworks.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care.
- Manage risk and develop contingency plans for various scenarios.
- Staff Development
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff.
- Organise and facilitate training programs for the multidisciplinary team.
- Mentor and support junior staff members in their career progression.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with consultants, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Engage with patients and their families to address concerns and improve service delivery.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and healthcare commissioners.
- Service Improvement
- Lead change management initiatives to enhance clinical services and patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to ENT care delivery.
- Analyse performance data and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a related specialty.
- Proven experience in a healthcare leadership role.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and CQC standards.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
