About the role:
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead operations for a contract catering client in central London. You will ensure high standards are upheld and client expectations are met within agreed objectives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive both operational excellence and business growth.
General Manager Responsibilities:
- Operations & Finance: Oversee daily operations, meet financial targets, manage budgets, and optimize costs.
- Client Service: Ensure high-quality service, maintain client relationships, and implement marketing plans.
- People Management: Recruit, train, and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Financial Control: Maintain records, handle stock control, and optimize purchasing.
- Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations, conduct risk assessments, and promote sustainability.
- Additional Duties: Attend meetings, support company values, and represent the business positively.
General Manager Requirements:
- Experience in catering and hospitality
- Background in high-end restaurants
- Highly presentable and confident in client interactions
- Strong knowledge of food and wine
