Our client offers fine dining and exquisite cuisine, where every dish tells a story and invites you to savor the artistry of their culinary creations. They are seeking a talented and driven General Manager to join their team in London and play a key role in shaping their innovative dining experience.
Please note- working hours will be Wednesdays and Thursdays from 2 pm until close, and Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11 am until close. This is subject to change.

What will your role look like?
Leadership and Team Management
- Hire, train, and supervise staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and support teams
- Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours while managing labour costs
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback
- Foster a positive work environment to motivate and inspire the team
Customer Experience
- Oversee front-of-house operations to ensure exceptional service
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintain the restaurant's ambiance and ensure it aligns with Ivory Seasons' brand
- Build customer loyalty by engaging with guests and gathering feedback
Financial Management
- Manage the restaurant's budget, including food and beverage costs, labour, and overhead expenses
- Develop strategies to increase sales, such as promotions, events, or menu specials
- Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and minimise waste
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance
Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Work with the head chef to create and update menus
- Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts
- Utilise restaurant management software for reservations, inventory, and point-of-sale systems
Marketing and Branding
- Plan and execute events, themed nights, or special promotions
- Collaborate with marketing teams to maintain an active social media presence
- Build partnerships with local businesses, influencers, and event planners
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure compliance with local health codes, food safety regulations, and licensing requirements
- Manage alcohol licenses, music licenses, and other permits
- Implement security measures to ensure the safety of guests and staff
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategies to grow Ivory Seasons' brand and profitability
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities
- Introduce new concepts, such as seasonal menus or private dining experiences
