The Barrel Project is the flagship bar/tap room of The London Beer Factory, it is a unique and exciting destination in the heart of Bermondsey, offering a wide range of craft beers and a welcoming atmosphere for beer enthusiasts and casual visitors alike. Were looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our team and take our operations to the next level.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of The Barrel Project. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations, delivering excellent customer service, managing the team, and driving growth for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient service and an exceptional customer experience.
  • Lead, train, and develop a high-performing team of staff.
  • Implement and maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Manage staff rota and ensure wage cost targets are hit.
  • Coordinate and drive marketing and promotional activities to boost brand visibility and attract new customers.
  • Maintain stock levels and manage supplier relationships.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance and uphold company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or beverage industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
