Our client based in Aldgate; City of London is now looking for a General Manager and for their new opening scheduled for April 2025.

The menu draws inspiration from global flavours and is deeply rooted in sustainable practices, from design to food and beverage.

We offer a negotiable salary package of £60,000 per year, start date is end of February or middle of March and is a must the General Manger has experience with new openings.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic and experienced General Manager that will lead team and oversee the daily operations of the new restaurant.

The ideal General Manager will have a strong background in hospitality management, a passion for sustainability, and experience in opening and managing restaurants in London. You will play a key role in shaping the restaurants culture, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and achieving operational excellence.

General Manager Key Responsibilities:
Leadership: Provide strong and inspiring leadership to the team, fostering a culture of excellence, sustainability, and collaboration.
Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of the restaurants operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Building: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team across all departments. Create a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Guest Experience: Ensure outstanding guest experiences by maintaining high standards of service and addressing feedback promptly and professionally.
Sustainability Practices: Collaborate with the Head Chef and suppliers to implement sustainable practices across the restaurant, including sourcing, waste management, and energy efficiency.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and achieve targets for revenue, labour, and food costs.
Marketing and Events: Work with the marketing team to promote the restaurant, plan events, and drive customer engagement.
Restaurant Launch: Play a leading role in the pre-opening phase, including team onboarding, system setup, and operational planning
