Our client is seeking a Ward Manager to provide Clinical Management and Leadership to the combined nursing team.
Main duties:
- Manages the combined ward and resources effectively
- Supervising the clinical team
- Acting as a leader and creating a good cultural environment
- Compliance monitoring
- Ensuring good CAMHS procedures and processes are in place
- Contribute to recruitment within the team
- Develop strong working relationships / key stakeholder engagement
- Deputising for the Director of Clinical Services as required.
- Takes on additional responsibilities including clinical audits for their combined CAMHS wards and the site
- Induction training and recruitment events
Requirements:
- Registered with either NMC- with background of working experience within CAMHS inpatient services would be desirable
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role working within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinical setting (CAMHS)
- Must show evidence of continuing professional development
- Previous experience of completing clinical audits within the department
