Heating Engineer

Salary: 50,000

Are you looking for your next Heating Engineer role? A successful contractor are seeking engineers to carry out general maintenance works within properties on one of their multiple social housing contracts.

Attend calls from residents to rectify their issues
Isolate property/equipment to carry out repairs and replacements of S/Yplans
Replace, repair and alter pipework where necessary
Isolate, drain down, remove and cap leaking radiators / radiators in need of replacement, as well as installation
Replace motorized valves and immersion heaters within properties
Install cylinders / thermal stores / water tanks
Fault finding and maintenance on HIUs
Diagnose heating and hot water issues within properties / blocks
Use a PDA system to take pictures and write reports on the works undertaken
Be a point of call for residents when they are without or lacking services
Cap and / or replace TRVs / Lockshields/ Wheelheads

Package

Full time permanent position
Company PDA, vehicle & fuel card
Company uniform
21 days holiday including bank holidays (1 day increase each year you work with the company)

Essential Criteria

NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing
Full UK Driving License
Good written and verbal communication
