We are seeking a capable and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Year 2 pupil with a diagnosis of ASC and ADHD.
This role is ideal for a confident graduate who has completed their degree and is looking to gain practical experience in the SEN/SEMH field. Aspiring Teachers, Counsellors, Wellbeing Practitioners, and Psychologists will find this experience invaluable.
About the Role:
- Mainstream Primary School in Hammersmith & Fulham
- September 2024 – July 2025 (Initial one-year contract with potential for extension)
- £96.00 - £100.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay), paid weekly on a PAYE basis
- Support a Year 2 pupil with ASC and ADHD
- Help the pupil remain focused, safe, and fully included in school activities
- Assist in de-escalating challenging situations
- Use negotiation techniques, sensory toys, and reward systems to help regulate emotions
