Sanza Teaching Agency is delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and supportive primary school in the heart of Haringey to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. This rewarding role involves providing one-to-one support for a pupil in Year 3 with Autism.
Key Details:
- Role Type: Full-time, long-term contract
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Start Date: January 2025 (earlier start date possible for the right candidate)
- Pay: Competitive daily rate with an increase after 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to a Year 3 pupil with Autism, focusing on their learning, emotional well-being, and social development.
- Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver effective strategies and interventions.
- Foster an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Monitor and document the pupil's progress, sharing insights with staff and parents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs, particularly Autism, is essential.
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a classroom setting is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to supporting children.
