A forward-thinking Secondary School in the South London are looking to recruit an Art & DT Technician for a full-time, long-term position, starting immediately!
The Art & DT departments are ideally looking for a passionate and creative graduate with previous technician experience.
As an Art & DT Technician, you will be helping support both departments, ensuring that lessons are fully prepped with apparatus and ready to go. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring teacher or even a bright and aspirational Art graduate.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Art / Design based degree required 1st Class or 2:1 - reputable University
- Strong academics required: GCSEs and A Levels (ideally within the Arts)
- Previous Art / DT Technician experience ideally required
- Knowledge & understanding of Risk Assessments within DT
- CAD & CAM skills an advantage
- Experience working with industrial machines: Lathe, Milling, Router
- Experience of putting on exhibitions, displays or functions
- Perfect for a creative graduate & aspiring Art / DT Teacher
- Hardworking, committed and outgoing graduate required!
- Effective team worker, reliable & supportive
- You must be flexible and willing to get involved where needed
