Art Teacher (Maternity Cover)Contract Duration: 13 Months (4 November 2025 - 31 December 2026)Location: Greenwich

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Art Teacher to join thier vibrant department on a full-time basis to cover an upcoming maternity leave. This position will primarily involve teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3) Art with some responsibility for teaching Fine Art at Key Stage 5 (KS5).

Key Details:

  • Start Date: 4 November 2025
  • End Date: 31 December 2026
  • Contract Length: 13 months
  • Teaching Focus:
    • KS3 Art
    • Fine Art at KS5
    • BTEC Art & Design (desirable at KS5)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and creative art lessons to KS3 students
  • Teach Fine Art to KS5 students, fostering creativity and critical thinking
  • (If applicable) Teach BTEC Art & Design to KS5 students
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Encourage and inspire students to develop their artistic skills and expression

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
  • Proven experience in teaching Art at KS3 and Fine Art at KS5
  • Experience in teaching BTEC Art & Design at KS5 is highly desirable
  • A passion for the arts and a commitment to fostering creativity in students
