Our client school is a well-established special school catering to pupils aged 5 to 16 years with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties as their primary area of need. Located within the London Borough of Redbridge, the school welcomes pupils from a range of neighbouring boroughs, including Barking & Dagenham, Essex, Enfield, Havering, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and Waltham Forest. With a dedicated team of over 65 staff supporting 80 pupils, the school provides a personalised, inclusive, and inspiring education alongside comprehensive pastoral care.
Our client school is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher to engage and inspire students in a SEMH setting. The successful candidate will have a passion for art, experience in adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs, and the ability to nurture students' self-expression through creative outlets.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and accessible art lessons tailored to students' individual needs.

Provide structured opportunities for students to develop technical skills in various art mediums.

Support students in exploring art as a form of self-expression and emotional regulation.
