Art Teacher - PRU (South Quay)

Are you a creative and resilient Art Teacher with strong behaviour management skills? Do you have a passion for inspiring young people with SEMH needs in a small-group setting?

We are looking for a dedicated Art Teacher to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in South Quay. Working with 4-8 pupils per class, you will use the power of art and creativity to engage and support students with challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:

�? Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs??? Use creative expression to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour???�? Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a structured learning environment?? Build strong relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and self-expression?? Work closely with the wider team, including SENCOs and support staff, to develop individual learning plans

What We're Looking For:

?? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant Art teaching experience?? Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills?? Experience working with challenging behaviour and SEMH pupils?? A patient, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching?? A commitment to safeguarding and supporting vulnerable learners
