This is a temporary position for the academic year, with a strong possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance and organizational needs by June 2025.

As an Art Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in inspiring creativity and self-expression through engaging lessons and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Engaging Curriculum: Plan and deliver an exciting art curriculum tailored to various skill levels and interests.

  • Teach & Inspire: Introduce students to a range of artistic techniques and media, from drawing and painting to sculpture and digital art.

  • Foster a Creative Environment: Cultivate a classroom atmosphere that encourages imagination, exploration, and respect for others' work.

  • Assess and Support: Evaluate student progress and provide personalized, constructive feedback to help them improve.

  • Encourage Participation: Lead extracurricular activities such as art clubs, exhibitions, and workshops to enhance students' artistic experiences.

  • Stay Current: Keep up with the latest trends in art education and integrate fresh ideas into your teaching.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to enrich the broader curriculum and participate in school events and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field (Teaching certification is preferred).

  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching art, ideally in an educational setting.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of art techniques and media.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

    • Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage students.

  • Personal Attributes: Creativity, patience, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to helping students succeed.
