Remedy Education are recruiting for 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants to join a large Primary school based in Lewisham.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary school, you will provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, helping them engage with tasks and adapt materials to suit their abilities. You will promote inclusion by fostering positive peer interactions and ensuring every pupil feels valued. You will implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs), manage behaviour effectively, and provide emotional support. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to create a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils can thrive.

Full-Time: 5 days per week
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, plus parent evenings
Salary: 100 - 110 per day
Start Date: ASAP (January 2026)
End Date: On-going
Contract Type (temp/perm/temp to perm): Temporary with the opportunity to go permanent

SEN Needs: SEMH, ADHD, ASD.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year supporting SEN pupils
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH REMEDY, YOU MUST
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
