About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Lambeth

A Behaviour teaching assistant is needed for a secondary school in the London Borough of Lambeth . In the role of a Behaviour Teacher Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work inside a classroom supporting young people with their academic studies, assisting them with their core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science. However, there will also be a time when you'll be able to work outside of the classroom either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups with young people who have similar needs to your own. You will be running intervention groups in order to help them improve their social and emotional needs in a positive way. Your work will be focused on helping young people to develop problem-solving skills and to gain insight into their own behaviour. You will be providing guidance and support to help them build their confidence and self-esteem. Finally, you will be helping to create a safe and supportive environment for young people to develop and grow.
