About the role - Behaviour Teaching assistant - Newham

This is a fantastic role for someone who has experience working with challenging behaviour or special educational needs. As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students in the classroom in a variety of ways. These ways can be either one-to-one or in small groups. It is your responsibility to assist them with their academic studies in order to keep them interested in their studies. It is expected that you will not only be able to help them with their academic studies, but you will also be expected to help them with their challenging behaviours as well. There may be mental health issues, challenging behaviour, Asperger's Syndrome, or ADHD of these students. In the event of a conflict between the students, it is important that you are able to think on your feet quickly as a result.
