About the role - Behaviour Teaching Assistant - Hackney
- Supporting students with behavioural challenges, helping them to engage in learning and classroom activities.
- Working alongside the class teacher to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Offering one-on-one and group support for students, promoting positive behaviour choices.
- Monitoring and tracking students' progress in relation to their behavioural development.
- Assisting in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with specific behavioural needs.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support student behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Providing pastoral care and acting as a role model to students who need additional support.
- Managing incidents of challenging behaviour effectively and following the school's behaviour policies.
- Supporting students during lessons, breaks, and lunch times, ensuring they are well-behaved and safe.
- Helping to foster a positive and inclusive school environment by supporting students with behavioural needs.
- Offering feedback and advice to teachers and parents on students' behavioural progress.
