Title: Full-Time Biology Teacher Required for Secondary Schools in East London (Long-Term)
Job Description:
Principal Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Biology Teacher for a full-time, long-term opportunity in secondary schools in East London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator with expertise in Biology to join a supportive school environment and make a lasting impact on students’ learning.
As a Biology Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging biology lessons, ensuring that students have the knowledge and skills to succeed. You will have the opportunity to develop and execute lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a positive classroom environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.
To be eligible for this role, you MUST:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching Biology at secondary school level
- Demonstrate the right to work in the United Kingdom
- Possess strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Be able to effectively differentiate lessons to cater to students with special educational needs (SEN)
- Show the ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Demonstrate calmness and composure under pressure to maintain an optimal learning environment
- Hold a recent, enhanced DBS check, or be willing to obtain one from Principal Education
- Provide an overseas police clearance for any country you've resided in for six months or more over the past five years (if applicable)
- Be based in or within commutable distance to East London schools
Pay Rates:
