We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Biology Teacher to join our secondary school in Greenwich for the Summer Term. This is a maternity cover position, starting at the end of April, where you will play a key role in delivering high-quality Biology lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4.
As part of our committed science department, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to support their development. We are looking for a qualified teacher (QTS required) with a strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people in the sciences.
The successful candidate will:- Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons to students in KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in achieving their full potential in science.
- Work collaboratively with the science department and contribute to the wider school community.
