This Community school located in the borough of Barking & Dagenham, are looking to recruit a TA with a BSL qualification to join their team ASAP. The school has the highest expectations and ambitions for every student. Through a large investment, the school has recently completed their rebuild and the facilities are fantastic.
This larger than average school are very supportive of their staff, and are always trying to better there expertise. Having been graded Good in their last Ofsted, it was stated that "Leaders make sure that staff benefit from quality training to help them to contribute towards the school's priorities. From their monitoring, leaders identify the personal training and development needs of members of staff, which they then fulfil."
The school has great public transport links nearby with a railway station and tube station both only a 10 minute walk from the school.
BSL Teaching Assistant
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individuals who are looking to make a difference as a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidates must have a BSL qualification as a minimum. The school requires a skilled individual who has worked with children or young adults with a hearing impairment, ideally this would be within a school or college setting. You will be required to support exchange and communication within the classroom, while also providing academic and emotional support. Experience with specialist resources, technology and learning materials is desirable.
The school are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant with a BSL qualification as a minimum who is able to commit to the remainder of the academic year.
The right applicant for this Teaching Assistant BSL position will:
- Have experience of working as a teaching assistant (desired)
- Have a BSL Level 1, 2 or 3 qualification (Requirement)
- Ability to engage with and inspire young learners.
