We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business & Economics Teacher to join a high-achieving Business Studies department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT eager to make a real impact on students’ understanding of the global economy, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy.
The Role:
- Teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5
- Deliver engaging and industry-relevant lessons that cover topics such as market structures, financial decision-making, entrepreneurship, and economic policies
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students through real-world case studies and business simulations
- Plan, assess, and track student progress to ensure high achievement and engagement
- Contribute to the wider school community through enterprise clubs, business competitions, and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at secondary school level
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to student progress
- A passion for business, finance, and preparing students for the modern economy
