Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Business Studies Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business education, with the ability to deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to develop a solid understanding of business concepts and practices. As a Business Studies Teacher, you will guide students in their journey to understanding business theory, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and management, while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teaching & Curriculum Delivery:

    • Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons to students at various levels (KS3, KS4, KS5, or equivalent).
    • Plan and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the curriculum standards and the educational needs of students.
    • Assess and evaluate students' progress through formal and informal methods, such as exams, quizzes, and assignments.
    • Provide clear and constructive feedback on students' work to support their development.
  2. Classroom Management:

    • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
    • Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and ensure that all students are actively participating.
  3. Assessment & Reporting:

    • Develop and maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and achievements.
    • Prepare reports for parents and guardians, and attend parent-teacher meetings to discuss student development.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Requirements:

    • A degree in Business Studies, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
    • A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is preferred.
    • Relevant experience in teaching Business Studies at secondary or post-secondary level.
  • Skills & Abilities:

    • Strong knowledge of Business Studies content, including economics, marketing, accounting, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
    • Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
    • Organizational and time-management skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and administrative duties.
    • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital tools to enhance learning.
