Job Overview:
We are seeking an inspiring, innovative, and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to join our team in January. The successful candidate will bring a thorough knowledge of the curriculum and a commitment to nurturing a dynamic learning environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons for KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans that meet the requirements of the national curriculum and school standards.
  • Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback to foster growth and academic development.
  • Engage with students to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and inspire an enthusiasm for business topics.
  • Collaborate with other department members to ensure cohesive and innovative curriculum delivery.
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and enables students to feel confident and supported.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
  • Degree in Business Studies, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level, ideally within the UK education system.
  • A strong understanding of the UK Business Studies curriculum and current exam specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
