The Role:

We are recruiting exceptional Classroom Assistants for the start of the new academic year! As a Classroom Assistant you will be required to support SEND children with our Classroom Assistants making a positive contribution within a school environment. To be considered for this role as a Classroom Assistant, you will have previous experience working with children and be available to start in September.

Key Duties:

- Provide exceptional support to SEND children both 1:1 and in groups

- Adapt teaching support according to student's needs

- Promote inclusion and acceptance, support diversity and ensure pupils have equal access to learning and development

- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

- Assist pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids

- Help teachers prepare learning materials and set up classrooms for engaging lessons

Requirements:

- Previous experience working with pupils with SEND is preferred, though not essential

- A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with SEND.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

- Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of pupils.

- Relevant qualifications or training in special education or SEND support would be advantageous.
