Computer Science Teacher

A large secondary school based in Uxbridge are looking for a Computer Science Teacher.

School are looking for someone to start in September 2025.

This position is full time. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Salary will match outer London MPS/UPS.

School has available parking spaces.

Computer Science Teacher - Uxbridge, London

  • Deliver Expert Instruction: Guide students through various computer science concepts, programming languages, algorithms, and real-world applications of technology. Help students develop a strong foundation and practical skills to thrive in an increasingly tech-driven world.

  • Support Student Growth: Foster creativity, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking through engaging exercises, projects, and opportunities to apply their learning in real-world scenarios. Encourage students to explore new technologies and innovate within the field of computer science.

  • Encourage Lifelong Learning: Inspire a love for technology and digital literacy, motivating students to continue exploring and advancing their knowledge throughout their lives. Help them understand how technology can be used to solve problems, drive progress, and express creativity.

  • Create a Positive Classroom Environment: Cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and safe space where students feel valued and encouraged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. Provide tailored support to help each student succeed.

For Computer Science and IT, the Curriculum has been based around the expertise knowledge of various members and experience in the department. It aims to ensure students at all stages can access the curriculum and be supported through each transition between year groups and supply the students with various skill sets which will be needed for their next steps.

Qualifications and Person Specification:
