Job Title: Electrical LecturerÂ
Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking an experienced, passionate and skilled Electrical Lecturer to join our Further Education sector at a campus in North West London. Role Summary:Â
As an Electrical Lecturer, you will be required to deliver NVQ level 1, 2 and 3 learning sessions to students of varying ages. This role requires a positive and friendly individual, with the ability to nurture and inspire their students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 Electrical Installation lessons to classes of approximately 20 - 25 students
- Assign work tasks for each session
- Able to demonstrate key elements of the session in an easy to understand format
- Complete work risk assessments and ensure safe working practices with consideration for the environment and others' safety.Â
- Provide support to Curriculum Managers and the wider college support network (e.g. Support Technicians, Senior Leadership Team and HR) as required
- Assist students to complete course work
- Guide students to completing assessments
Requirements:Â
- Good all-round technical ability with hands on Electrical Installation experience
- Hold Electrical trade qualifications.Â
- Experience of training others, ideally within the Electrical Installation industry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Â
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety within the industry, with the ability to implement control measures at the site level.Â
