A brilliant Secondary School is on the hunt for multiple English Academic Mentors to join the ranks of its fantastic English department. The school is situated within the borough of Brent and is known to pride itself on its full focus on enhancing and developing its pupil's learning. This is a full academic year position taking you up until July 2025!

English Academic Mentor: Job description

  • Assisting with classes across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • Conduct intervention groups and 1:1 sessions to assist pupils with their studying
  • Assist within the classroom partaking in general TA duties
  • Located within the borough of Brent
  • ASAP start - Full-time - Full academic year - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
  • £105 - £110 per day - Term time only

English Academic Mentor: Person Specification

  • Must have a 1st Class or 2:1 English-related degree from a reputable University!
  • Good A Levels & GCSEs
  • Have a committed and genuine passion for helping students!
  • Confident in your knowledge and ability within your specialist subject.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with the class teacher about pupil progress
