- Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 16-18, ensuring alignment with GCSE curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning and interest in English.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons and activities.
- Participate in department meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching resources.
- Recognised teaching qualification E.g DET, DTTLS, PGCE or Cert Ed
- Strong understanding of FS and GCSE English curriculum and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to professional development and staying updated with the latest educational practices.
