Job Advert: English LecturerLocation: South LondonWorking Days: Monday - WednesdayHours: 12 hours of teaching, 2 hours of admin, 1 hour meeting (15 hours total per week)Morgan Hunt is partnering with a leading further education and training college in South London to provide cover for an English Lecturer. This is an immediate and urgent requirement to replace a teacher starting from the first week of April until the end of the academic year.
Key Duties of an English Lecturer
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to further education and training students across the specified days.
- Ensure lessons are engaging, effective and meet the curriculum requirements.
- Complete administrative tasks related to the course (2 hours per week).
- Attend necessary meetings (1 hour per week).
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an English Lecturer within a further education and training setting.
- UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or similar)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (mandatory).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A passion for teaching and supporting students.
