We are looking for a passionate and dedicatedEYFS Assistantto join our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team at our vibrant OFSTEAD OUTSTANDINGprimary school in Camden. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting a student within their education journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily 1-1 support to a early years student who hasASD and is non - verbal.
  • Tailor learning materials to meet the students needs and ensure confidence within the student.
  • Give daily feedback to staff and parents on students progress/development.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with children in an early years or primary school setting, ideally within an EYFS class.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and developmental milestones.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with children who have additional needs, including special educational needs (SEN)
  • Knowledge of phonics and early literacy strategies
  • An understanding of effective strategies to support social and emotional development in young children
