EYFS Teaching Assistant - The Primary School:
We're working with a two form-entry primary school in Southwark that are seeking to hire an early years teaching assistant to join their lovely and friendly school as soon as possible.
As an early year's teaching assistant, you will be working alongside the class teacher and supporting small groups of children within the reception class. The school can provide enthusiastic pupils, a well-resourced environment & opportunities for professional development.
If you have worked within a primary school, have a CACHE Level 3 and supported within a EYFS setting you're highly encouraged to apply for this position.
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant you must have:
- Experience working within EYFS
- Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- A passion to work within education
- Be committed to promoting high standards in learning
Main Responsibilities of an EYFS Teaching Assistant:
- Supporting children in reception
- Working alongside the class teacher
- Working with small groups of children
- Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Sessions
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met
EYFS Teaching Assistant - Additional information:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30am - 3:30pm
- ASAP start
- 83 - 100 per a day
- Primary School in Southwark
