A highly-regarded all-through school based in Barnet is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to come into lessons and support their KS3-KS5 students throughout their esteemed establishment. A Graduate Teaching Assistant will be responsible for helping students in a plethora of subjects and helping students reach their full potential. Graduate Teaching Assistants will be expected to support in the core subjects.

Graduate Teaching Assistant | About the job:

  • A First-Class Degree is Mandatory for a Graduate Teaching Assistant. An Upper-Second Class Degree from a Top-20 University will also be considered.
  • A Graduate Teaching Assistant will earn between £96-£105 a day depending on experience | Paid Weekly via PAYE.
  • Applicants will be responsible for supporting students with various abilities and helping them reach their full potential.
  • The main subjects a Graduate Teaching Assistant will be expected to help within their specialism, but may be asked to help in other subjects.
  • It would be advantageous if applicants to the Graduate Teaching Assistant position have previous child-centred experience and experience with SEND.
  • Previous Tutoring Experience will be looked upon fondly.
  • You may be tasked with hosting small-group interventions, supporting students 1-1 or supporting across a class during lessons.
